Privacy Policy for Void Rush: Endless Climb

Developer: Rachit Anil Shah
Last updated: September 29, 2026

Void Rush: Endless Climb can be played fully offline — your scores, progress, and achievements stay on your device by default. This policy explains exactly what that means, what additional data is sent if you choose to go online for features like leaderboards or challenges, and one thing that happens automatically either way: the advertising SDK we use for optional rewarded ads collects a baseline level of app-usage data the moment the app opens, regardless of whether you ever watch an ad or use an online feature. See "Collected Automatically" below and the Advertising section for the full detail.

Void Rush is a new game from an independent developer. We've done our best to make this policy accurate and complete, but mistakes are possible, so please double-check anything that matters to you and tell us if something looks wrong (see Accuracy and Changes to This Policy).

1. Information We Collect

Void Rush: Endless Climb separates data into two clear buckets: what stays only on your device, and what is sent online. The second bucket applies once you use an online feature (Rankings, Challenge a Friend, or saving a display name), after a notice on the main menu that links to this policy. After your first use, the game reconnects to these services automatically whenever it opens. Two things happen for every player regardless: the ad SDK described below starts when the app opens, and Firebase code is loaded from Google's servers at launch (see "Connection to Google at launch").

STORED ONLY ON YOUR DEVICE

This data is saved in the app's local storage and is not transmitted anywhere unless listed in the online section below. It exists so your progress survives between sessions:

STORED ONLINE — WHEN YOU USE THESE FEATURES

Data in this section is stored in Google Cloud Firestore once you use Rankings, Challenge a Friend, or save a display name:

Public information: your display name, score, and level are shown to other players on leaderboards, and your name and score are shown to challenge opponents. Please don't use your real name as a display name.

There is no email/password account system and no sign-up process. Your online identity is an anonymous ID, generated on your device or issued by Firebase Authentication's anonymous sign-in, depending on your device and connection. It has no name, email address, or other contact information attached to it. It is stored on your device by Firebase and is not removed by the in-app deletion option (see Your Rights and Choices).

Void Rush: Endless Climb does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location, or any other device sensors.

ABUSE PREVENTION — APP CHECK

To help stop cheating, fake scores, and automated abuse, online features use Firebase App Check with Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise. This sends device and browser signals to Google to verify that requests come from a genuine copy of the game. It runs when the online features connect. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to reCAPTCHA.

CONNECTION TO GOOGLE AT LAUNCH

The game loads Firebase code from Google's servers (gstatic.com) every time the app opens, including for players who have never used an online feature. Like any web request, this lets Google receive your IP address and basic device and browser information at that moment. Firestore, Authentication, and App Check connect only when you use an online feature, or automatically at app start if you have used one before.

COLLECTED ONCE YOU USE AN ONLINE FEATURE — ANALYTICS

The first time you use Rankings or Challenge a Friend, we enable Firebase Analytics (the native Google SDK). It is off when the app is first installed. It collects standard app-usage data, such as:

This is separate from the Google Mobile Ads SDK data described below. Once enabled, there is no in-app option to switch Analytics off while still using Rankings or Challenges. If you never use an online feature, Firebase Analytics is never enabled. Analytics data already sent to Google follows Google's own retention schedule and is not affected by the "Delete My Online Data" option (see Your Rights and Choices).

WEBSITE AND SHARED LINKS

Challenge and share links point to our website, hosted by Netlify. If you or a friend open a link (or this page) in a browser, the host receives a normal web request, which can include an IP address and the link itself, and a challenge link contains the challenge code. The game does not send this data anywhere else.

COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY — FOR AD MEASUREMENT

Unlike the data above, this is not gated behind an explicit opt-in action. The Google Mobile Ads SDK that powers our optional rewarded ads also collects a baseline set of app-usage signals automatically, starting the moment the app opens, whether or not you ever watch a rewarded ad or use any online feature. This includes:

This is collected by Google as part of how the Mobile Ads SDK measures and serves ads; see the Advertising section for the full detail. You can limit it at any time using your device's advertising ID controls (see Your Rights and Choices).

2. Advertising

Void Rush: Endless Climb shows optional rewarded video ads — for example, watching an ad to double the coins you earned in a run, or to revive after a crash. These ads are served using Google AdMob (part of the Google Mobile Ads SDK). You always choose whether to watch a rewarded ad; the game never plays ads automatically or without your tap.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK begins collecting a baseline set of this information automatically as soon as the app opens — not only when an ad is actually shown — and continues for as long as the app is running. This happens regardless of whether you ever choose to watch a rewarded ad. The information collected includes:

Ads shown may be personalized using your advertising ID and other signals collected by Google. Google may share ad-related data with its own advertising partners under its policies; see How Google uses data from apps that use its services ↗.

This automatic collection is not currently gated behind a separate in-app consent prompt — we're disclosing it here, and in the in-app Privacy Policy summary, so you know it's happening before you ever interact with an ad.

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us directly, and is encrypted in transit. You can limit or reset your advertising identifier at any time from your Android device's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or similar, depending on your Android version) — turning this off reduces ad personalization but does not prevent ads from being shown.

For more detail on what the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects, see Google's own disclosure: Google Mobile Ads SDK — Data Disclosure ↗

3. How We Use This Information

DataUsed For
Local progress data (scores, coins, ships, achievements)Saving and restoring your game between sessions on the same device
Display name + mode score/level/run lengthPowering the global leaderboard rankings for each game mode, and helping detect implausible/cheated scores
Display name reservationPreventing two players from claiming the same display name
Challenge code + both players' IDs, names, and scoresMatching you with the friend you're challenging and determining the result of a duel
Firebase Analytics usage data (only once you use an online feature)Understanding feature usage and app performance
Advertising ID + ad interaction data (via Google AdMob)Serving and measuring optional rewarded video ads, and preventing ad fraud
Basic app-usage/session data + advertising ID, collected automatically by the Mobile Ads SDK from app launchAd measurement and app analytics for Google — collected automatically, not tied to whether you watch an ad or use any online feature
Player reports (reported name and ID, your anonymous ID, source, time)Moderating abusive display names and preventing abuse
App Check / reCAPTCHA Enterprise signalsVerifying requests come from a genuine copy of the game, to prevent cheating and automated abuse
Web request data (IP address, link) when a shared link or this page is openedServing the website and challenge links (hosted by Netlify)

4. Third-Party Service Providers

Void Rush: Endless Climb uses Google Firebase: Cloud Firestore (database), Firebase Authentication (anonymous sign-in, used to generate your online identifier), Firebase App Check with Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise (abuse prevention), and Firebase Analytics (app-usage analytics, enabled once you use an online feature). It also uses Google AdMob (for optional rewarded video ads), all operated by Google LLC, and Netlify to host our website and challenge links. Data from online features is processed and stored on Google's infrastructure on our behalf, with Google acting as a processor for Firebase data. Google AdMob collects and uses advertising data under Google's own policies.

You can read Google's own privacy practices here: Google Privacy Policy ↗

If Void Rush: Endless Climb adds any new third-party service beyond those named above, this policy will be updated first, with a new "Last updated" date at the top, before that service becomes active.

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for our own marketing. Data described in this policy is received by Google Firebase (leaderboard, username, challenge, report, App Check, and analytics data), Google AdMob (advertising-related data, collected automatically when the app opens and whenever a rewarded ad is shown), and Netlify (web requests to our website). Google may share ad-related data with its own advertising partners under its policies, and we do not control how Google uses data collected directly by its advertising systems beyond what is described in this policy.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can request deletion of your online data at any time in two ways:

1. Directly inside the app (automated):

This permanently removes your entries from the Classic, Blitz, Boss Rush, and Gravity Flip leaderboards and resets your local progress on that device. It cannot be undone. It does not remove: the reservation of your display name (kept so no one else can take the name; it holds only the name and your anonymous ID), challenge records (which expire automatically after 48 hours), player reports, your anonymous Firebase ID, or analytics and advertising data held by Google. If the game cannot reach the server when you tap the button, only your local data may be cleared, so please make sure you are connected first.

2. By email (no app required):

You can request deletion of your online data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed, by emailing us at voidrush.support@gmail.com with your in-game display name. We will locate and remove the data we hold about you, including leaderboard entries, your name reservation, and any challenge or report records we can link to you.

Firebase Analytics data (see Information We Collect) is enabled the first time you use Rankings or Challenges, and there is not yet an in-app option to use those features while opting out of analytics specifically. Analytics events already sent to Google follow Google's own retention schedule and are not affected by the deletion options above, which cover data stored in our own database.

The automatic ad-measurement data described in the Advertising section is collected by Google directly, not by us, so it isn't covered by the deletion options above. You can limit or reset your advertising identifier at any time from your Android device's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or similar, depending on your Android version) — this reduces ad personalization but does not stop ads from being shown.

7. Children's Privacy

Void Rush: Endless Climb is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data to us, we will take steps to delete that data promptly.

8. Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. We have no access to it and no ability to retrieve or delete it remotely.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data described in this policy, relying on Google Firebase's infrastructure for encryption in transit and at rest. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of any information you send online.

10. Accuracy and Changes to This Policy

A note on accuracy. Void Rush: Endless Climb is a new game from an independent developer. We have worked hard to describe accurately what the game does with your data, and we will keep doing our best to keep this policy correct and up to date, but we can't promise it is perfect or complete. The game, the third-party services it uses (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Netlify), and the rules around them can change, and we may make mistakes or miss something. If anything here looks wrong, unclear, or out of date, please email us at voidrush.support@gmail.com and we will look into it and correct it. We also encourage you to double-check the details that matter to you, for example by reading Google's own policies linked above and reviewing your device's privacy and ad settings.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically, especially before opting into any new online feature.
